26A – CELEBRATING FAILURE
The time I failed: Last semester was a really tough semester emtionally. I was taking Business Finance and I did not perform to my liking in the class, I procrastinated a lot. My exam grades really reflected what I had been studying. Yes, the class is tough but you must put hours of studying but I had issues going on at home that kept me from being able to focus fully on the course. Therefore I had to drop the class and it hurt a lot, because it is the first class I ever drop and I was dissapointed with myself. What I learned from it: I learned that I have to study more and not procastinate, I also learned the lesson financially as I had to retake and pay for the class a second time. I also learned that I have many tools here at UF and friends that can help me out during tough times emotionally. ReplyDeleteI like how you pushed through even at the points of pauses. I think this showed that you really had all the information and you were able to keep your thoughts connected and making sense. Your facts really showed the market status of your idea. The audio was clear, and you projected your voice loudly and clearly as well. The overall elevator pitch was done very well.
