3A - YOUR ENTREPRENEURSHIP STORY

This previous summer I had the opportunity to intern at HKS Industrial while working in the company my boss had recently partnered a recently opened restaurant. The restaurant's name was Hattori by Hanzo, it was a Peruvian-Japanese fusion food called 'Nikkei'. My boss at that time asked me to also help him do marketing things for the restaurant. While I had already a lot of work with HKS, I had to on top do most of the marketing for Hattori, it was quite a daunting task! But I could not say no to my boss, therefore I took on the role and it was very rewarding because I devoted so much time creating pamphlets and marketing ideas in order to make the restaurant grow. It was so much dedication and love that I started to develop for the restaurant, that I worked until September of last year with the restaurant and being far away made me stop because I felt I could not help as much as before. Anyways, I talked to the restaurant during winter break and they were having record numbers for that month. To find out this made me so happy because I felt that the work I performed is now growing to bigger and great things. Below I attached pictures of the plates I actually ate, not from a photo shoot or anything, as you can see the presentation was great in every single plate.

White Roll; Tempura shrimp, fresh Chilean salmon, avocado, covered in cream cheese and scallions on top.
Build Your Own Poke Bowl; Shrimps, avocado slices, scallions, sesame seeds, cream cheese, and spicy mayo.

    Wow i bet the Peruvian-Japanese food mixture must of been a very different experience from your everyday life. Its great that you were able to spend a good amount of time making pamphlets and doing some marketing, that will be great knowledge for any future careers and if you go a totally different path you will still have nice mixed skill set. Lastly, i think that the pictures you posted look very delicious and it helps me picture your summer job well.

    This was such a cool story! I am happy to hear that your contributions lead to a successful restaurant. I am glad that you added your own photos. They definitely look delicious! I agree that good marketing can lead to a successful business. I think to improve this post, you need to include why you enrolled in this class. Also, it might be beneficial to compare the skills you learned to those of an entrepreneur.

    the thing that you've done it sounds amazing, what an accomplishment you must be proud of using your skills helped your boss building a successful restaurant, and it also beneficial you, since you are experienced, and it can Definitely light up your resume, I’m glad you add your own photos, they definitely look delicious, it made the crazy Asian food fan side of me came out.

8A - SOLVING THE PROBLEM

Opportunity: I see a huge opportunity because there is an important a huge market that is not satisfied. Either people that are deal hunters like me and search for good deals to travel or professionals or people who rather spend that extra money and travel not necessarily more luxurious but have a more pleasant and comfortable flight. As we saw people that are interested right now in traveling are aware of this issue, yet nobody has really stepped up to do something about it. Obviously, this idea is not something I am committed to 100% but I do see an opportunity for a market that is hot having their wishes fulfilled. Service to be offered: My implementation would be to create an airline that competes with the current airlines that travel to South America. I am not sure now after the interviews if the low-cost or high-end airline is a better idea, this would have to go under extensive research in order to find which one would become more successful.
